The Wineglass Marathon

Both the Wineglass Full and Half Marathons are filled to capacity, and registration is closed. If you’re one of the lucky registrants, we’re glad that you’ve decided to join us October 2-4, 2015 in New York’s beautiful Finger Lakes Wine Country. Once again, we’ll welcome a record field of more than 6,000 runners to our flat, fast and scenic course from Bath to Corning with its picturesque finish on Historic Market Street. The Corning Museum of Glass will host the Wineglass Expo and bib/packet pick-up for the second year. While you’re there, plan some extra time to visit the Museum’s spectacular Contemporary Art + Design Wing which opened to rave reviews in March 2015.

Named one of the country’s top destination marathons and the 10th Best Marathon in the World (The Active Times), the 34th Annual Wineglass Marathon is on many runners’ bucket list. Start time in Bath is 8:15AM on Sunday, October 4th. Arnot Health is the presenting sponsor for the fourth year.

The wildly popular Wineglass Half Marathon is in its fifth year and starts at the halfway point of the full marathon course in Campbell at 7:45AM on Sunday. Competitor Running named the Wineglass Half Marathon one of the “25 Half Marathons Worth Running” (2014). This very popular race is once again presented by Seneca Lake Wine Trail. We love that so many runners make the Wineglass Half their first-ever half marathon!

Be a part of the fun and join us for the Corelle 5K on Saturday, October 3 at 8:30AM. Registration for this race in downtown Corning is still open and gives everyone a chance to be part of Wineglass Weekend. The loop across the bridge takes runners past the World Kitchen factory where all the world’s Corelle dinnerware is made.
