The first Seaside School Half Marathon & 5K was in 2003. It has grown from a race with a few hundred runners to a race with more than 3000 participants from all over the country.

All proceeds from the races benefit the Seaside School Inc., an award winning public charter school in South Walton County, Florida, and all the money raised will stay in the the community to expand the school and enhance school programs.
